A virtual interactive discussion was held on 18 March 2021 that aimed to challenge how we think, feel, and act towards age and ageing. The event launched the first UN Global report on ageism, developed by WHO, OHCHR, UNDESA, and UNFPA. The report presents the latest evidence on a topic that has only gained greater relevance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event included Hannah and Benjie Ingram-Moore and highlighted what we know about ageism, why it matters, and how we can tackle it.
